Frequently Asked Question

Everything you need to know before your visit.

1. What are Sciton laser treatments used for at Timeless Skin & Aesthetics?

Our Sciton lasers and light-based treatments are designed to improve skin tone, texture, clarity, and signs of aging. We commonly address concerns such as sun damage, redness, pigmentation, acne, enlarged pores, and scarring. Treatments range from gentle maintenance to advanced resurfacing, depending on your goals and skin type.

2. Can I receive laser treatments while pregnant?

Laser treatments are not recommended during pregnancy. During your consultation, we can suggest pregnancy-safe skincare options and help create a personalized treatment plan for after delivery.

3. How often should I schedule laser treatments?

Treatment frequency depends on the service and your skin goals. Some treatments are performed in a series, while others are spaced seasonally or annually. Your provider will create a customized plan based on your skin’s response and long-term goals.

4. Can I get Botox or Dysport while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Injectables are not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, we ask that you receive approval from your doctor before treatment, and this will be reviewed during your consultation.

5. How do I know when I’m ready for injectables?

If you’re starting to notice fine lines, volume loss, or changes in facial balance, a consultation can help determine if injectables are right for you. Our approach focuses on natural, balanced results that enhance your features.

6. What’s the difference between microneedling and laser treatments?

Microneedling uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen and improve texture and scarring. Laser treatments use light or laser energy to target tone, pigmentation, redness, and surface or deeper skin concerns. Your provider can recommend which option, or combination, best fits your goals.

7. Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?

Yes, a consultation helps ensure your treatment is safe, appropriate, and tailored to your skin type, medical history, and goals. It also allows us to review expected results, downtime, and long-term planning.

8. Is there downtime after treatments?

Downtime varies by service. Some treatments allow you to return to daily activities the same day, while others may involve redness, peeling, or swelling for several days. We’ll walk you through what to expect before your appointment.

9. When will I see results?

Some treatments provide an immediate glow, while others improve gradually as collagen builds and the skin renews. Most clients see continued improvement over the following weeks and months, depending on the service.

10. How far in advance should I book before an event or special occasion?

We recommend scheduling treatments several weeks to months in advance, especially for lasers and peels, to allow time for healing and optimal results.
